Der Workshop wird auf Englisch durchgeführt, Teilnahme ohne Englisch-Kenntnisse nach Absprache möglich. Queer & Trans Personen of Color erhalten Priorität bei der Anmeldung. Anmeldung über diese demographische Gruppe hinaus sind willkommen. Keine Tanzkenntnisse nötig. Die Teilnahme ist kostenlos. Anmeldung an germo@theater-roxy.ch bis zum 3. Mai. Wir bestätigen die Teilnahme bis 5. Mai. Der dann aktuell gültigen Corona-Massnahmen werden eingehalten. Ivy Monteiro ist mit dem Stück LAS TEMPLAS am 6. und 8. Mai im ROXY zu Gast. Der Workshop findet in Kooperation mit Bunt! Basel Divers statt.

Vogue is a lifestyle and culture in itself - birthed by Trans and Queer People of Color as an empowerment movement. Ivy aka Tropikahl B. Poderosa navigates the Vogue scene internationally and since some time Ivy cultivates this culture in Swiss grounds, giving Voguing workshops in queer-friendly institutions & events. Join in and learn all about the scene worldwide and its history, its influence in fashion and pop culture, its iconic movements, rhythm, categories, legacy and much more. Queer & Trans People of Color are prioritized for participation. In the absence of this demography it’s open for all. No dance skills required. Participation is free of charge. Register by germo@theater-roxy.ch until May 3rd. We will confirm the participation until May 5th. The workshop will comply with the Corona-measures valid by then. Ivy Monteiro is also showing their piece LAS TEMPLAS on May 6th and 8th at ROXY. The workshop takes place in cooperation with Bunt! Basel Divers.
